ILSC Language Schools and Toronto Metropolitan University Launch Joint Pathway Partnership for International Students

Toronto, ON - ILSC Language Schools and Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) have launched a Joint Pathway (JPP) that allows international students to build their English skills at ILSC Language Schools, finish their final English Level at TMU English Language Institute and move on to academic study in downtown Toronto. The JPP builds on a progression agreement between the two institutions dating back to 2024.

Under the JPP, students complete their lower-level English study at ILSC Language Schools, then finish their final English level directly at TMU English Language Institute before beginning their academic program at TMU.

“TMU’s reputation, academic offerings and downtown Toronto setting make it a natural next step for our students. This partnership lets them complete their English preparation at TMU itself, so they arrive at their academic program already part of the university community” said Ali Noori, ILSC’s National Director, Language & Pathways Canada.

Students begin their journey at ILSC, where ILSC’s University Pathway Advising Team helps them understand the entry requirements, plan their studies, and prepare for the move to TMU. Final admission decisions are made by TMU.

Interested students can apply to ILSC Language Schools and begin planning their pathway in preparation for the intakes.
